Loud N Proud takes Parker Thanksgiving Regatta

November 27th 2006…Kicking off the first points race in fine form for the 2007 American Power Boat Association Championship season, the Loud N Proud team dominated the Super Stock and Pro Stock classes at the 60th Annual SCSC Blue Water Resort & Casino Thanksgiving Regatta. Veteran flatbottom pilot, Paul Fitzgerald from Concord, NC was at the wheel of the teams SS68 Super Stock boat filling in for owner Jeff Brochheuser who could not make the Parker event. Fitzgerald did a stellar job taking 4 wins from 4 starts in the 6 boat field of Super Stocks that were on hand. The SS68 boat performed flawlessly leading each race from start to finish at speeds over 110 MPH. Australian driver Chris Kenner was at the wheel of the teams new all black Pro Stock Canary hull. Fitted with the a fresh 500 cubic inch Joey Grose Racing Engines bullet, Kenner headed the strong 11 boat field, leading all 4 races flag to flag and like Fitzgerald, took 4 wins from 4 starts with the new boat which ran great straight out of the shop. Team owner Jeff Brochheuser has his eyes set on the Super Stock and Pro Stock APBA National Championships for 2007 and starting off the new season with a perfect weekend at Parker was a great way to get the ball rolling. The Loud N Proud team has the points lead for both Super Stock and Pro Stock heading in to the second race that is coming up after the winter break over the weekend of March 3-4 2007 at Lake Ming in Bakersfield, CA.
