Geoff Tomkins

Aussie B.A.D boat racer Geoff Tomkins sadly lost his life to the sport he loved dearly whilst competing in his Iron Nuts boat on Sunday March 4^th 2007. We learnt of this very sad news on Sunday morning (USA time) whilst racing at Bakersfield, CA. Geoff Tomkins was a great guy, a die hard boat racer that loved racing his Iron Nuts B.A.D Boat with a passion. This is a very sad time and news not only for boat racing in Australia but for boat racing worldwide. It always hits home hard when we lose of our racing family members. I'm glad we got to hang out with Geoff and have a beer one last time at the UIM World Cup in Australia recently. From all of us here at the Loud N Proud team and the USA boat racing fraternity, our thoughts & best wishes go out to Geoff's wife Denise, his family, friends & team. We'll miss ya mate!!!
